Los hombrecitos de Arnal Ballester
Creo que hace años les hablé de los libros que hace Media Vaca, una editorial de Valencia (España) en la que no me molestaría que me ofrecieran un trabajito un día de estos.
Arnal Ballester, uno de mis ilustradores favoritos, ha trabajado varias veces con Media Vaca y acaba de recibir nada menos que el primer Premio Nacional de Ilustración que otorga el Ministerio de Cultura de la Madre Patria. Este catalán, licenciado en Historia de la Universidad Autónoma de Barcelona, estudió arte en la escuela Massana de la Ciudad Condal, donde actualmente da clases. Tiene años ilustrando maravillosos libros para niños, entre los que seguro les sonará el Chamario que hizo con Eduardo Polo (nuestro querido y recordado Eugenio Montejo), con Ekaré, en 2004. Los libros de Media Vaca se consiguen el la librería Estudios, que queda detrás del Centro San Ignacio y el Chamario está en casi todas las librerías que tienen sección infantil. ¡Enhorabuena, Arnal!

No se si alguien escribió sobre los caramelos de maní, que tenían forma de maní. Realmente cuando veo que una chuchería es de maní, trato de probarla buscando reproducir ese sabor, pero no he corrido con suerte, no logran igualarlo...Realmente, inolvidables para mí.
